Opportunities for Adults
1st Praise Adult Choir
Has God been leading you to increase your worship experience? If so, our adult choir program called, “1st Praise” has a place for you. If you are college age and above, you are welcome to join this community of worshippers. There are no auditions and no one is ever turned away. We would love to be able to fill the choir loft every Sunday. If you are interested in joining 1st Praise, please attend one of our rehearsals, call Joe Daniel in the Church Office, or email him at jdaniel@fbcforney.org.

Praise Team
Out of the choir, we select Praise Team members who lead worship with or without the choir. These teams are composed of choir members who audition and are chosen to serve. Their music skills are more advanced and they require more rehearsal time.

Media & Audio Visual Team
At FBC Forney, we use state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting systems to enhance and give clarity to our worship services and special presentations. We use volunteers, who work behind-the-scenes with servant's hearts, to run these systems. The areas of service include audio, camera operation, video editing and graphics, lighting, and stage set-up. Getting connected with the Media Ministry is easy. We will provide training. Ensembles
We have several ensembles within the music ministry. These currently include Praise Team - adult worship leaders provide leadership for worship services and seasonal presentations; Audience of One - adult ladies ensemble; 1st Praise Singers - adult mixed ensemble; and Forever Changed Men's Quartet - men's gospel quartet.
Hand Bells
Hand Bell ensembles include Master Ringers & Four For Him - auditioned hand bell choir.
Orchestra
Those interested in playing instruments in an orchestra or band, please contact Joe in the Church Office.
Drama
This ministry is for anyone interested in providing dramatic presentations for worship services and seasonal pageants.
Opportunities for Children
Children's Choirs
Preschool-Kindergarten and The Kingdom Kids Choirs (grades 1-6) rehearse on Sundays during the school year. Please complete the music ministry registration page above, or contact the Church Office. We will have performances throughout the year and be involved in the Christmas musical.
