Preschool Ministry

 

Here at First Baptist Forney we strive for excellence.  We believe strongly in the responsibilities of the home and church in helping with the spiritual nurturing of your child. To help accomplish this, our Bible Study literature focuses on these eight areas: Jesus, God, Natural World, Bible, Family, Others, Church and Self.

Weekly Activities


Sunday Mornings Schedule

Clubs & Events

 

AWANA Clubs

AWANA Cubbies (3's-4's) Clubs meet Wednesdays from 6:15 -7:45 p.m. in the older Preschool Area behind the fish tank. 

 

Children's Choirs

Meet Sundays at 6:00 pm in the CEC for children 3 years old by Sept. 1. (during the school year)

 

Preschool Storytime

Meets monthly in the First Baptist CEC on the 3rd Friday of the month except for holidays and Spring Break. Enjoy a story, snack and craft activity.

 Note: A parent must accompany preschoolers to each event:

Preschool Story Time

Will resume when school starts!
Preschool Story Time is now the 3rd Friday of every month. All Preschool children of the community are
invited to get out of the cold and warm up at FBC Forney. Activity starts at 10:00 a.m. in the Children's Event Center. Preschoolers and their
parent will enjoy reading a story, making a craft, and snacks.

Monday, August 23...FISD Begins!

Wednesday, August 25...AWANA Round Up at 6:30p in the CEC.

August 29...GAs, Bible Drill, and Children's Worship University Registration. 5-6:00 p.m. in the Children's Event Center.

Sept. 1...Preschool Fun Day at Forney Community Park. Meet there at 10:00 a.m. Bring sunscreen and a sack lunch!
AWANA Begins at its new time - 6:15-7:45 p.m.
