First Baptist Forney Building Campaign 2.0
Our Higher Ground Campaign was designed to help the church provide more space for our current members as well as the future growth of our community to develop spiritually and learn in a new multipurpose worship, recreation, & potential adult educational facility.
This building will be used for two Sunday Worship Services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., for our Wednesday night ministry, our adult and children’s sports ministries as well as other meetings and events. It includes a vast atrium type lobby that will allow our members and guests to gather in fellowship between services and during the week. The lobby will also connect our current facilities with the new buildings allowing for covered, climate controlled access.
The Higher Ground program was designed to raise the initial funds necessary to allow First Baptist Forney to feasibly manage our debt payment over a 20 year period. The Higher Ground 2.0 program will allow First Baptist to pay towards the principal of the remaining loan. This will enable First Baptist to move forward to the future while continuing to be financially stable.
