North American
Las Vegas, Nevada - March 7-11
This team will be working with the Las Vegas Baptist Association to serve at the motor speedway for NASCAR weekend. Team members will serve in various capacities at the race track to build relationships and share the gospel with fans. Estimated cost: $600
Camp Barnabas - Purdy, Mo - June 8-15
Serving students at this Christian camp for kids and teens, ages 7 to 17, with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities.
Taos, New Mexico - June 22-29
We are starting a new partnership with Taos First Baptist Church. The team will lead sports camps and other outreach activities to share the gospel with people in the community. The church also has a need for a construction team to come and help improve their facility. Estimated cost: $400
Long Island, New York - July 27-Aug 3
We will continue our partnership with church plants on Long Island. This mission team will help lead Vacation Bible School and other outreach activities in the community. Estimated cost: $700
River Ministry - Moore, OK Disaster Relief - Aug 11-17
This team will be the hands and feet of Christ as they help with construction needs in Moore, OK following this Spring's devastating tornadoes. We will be working with the BGCT so a background check will be required. Team will stay at FBC Normand so limited spots are available. To sign up, contact Jim Andrews at 972.564.2752. Estimated cost: $100 + $15 to BGCT for background check fees.
International Missions
India - Feb 4-12
We will be partnering with church planters to conduct leadership training and help start new churches. We are also developing a strategy to embrace an unreached people group in the northern part of India. Estimated cost: $2000
Uruguay - March 8-16
We will continue our partnership with a church in Minas by leading sports and dance camps and doing some construction work to help fix up the church facility. Estimated cost: $1800
Czech Republic - July 11-20
This team will help lead an English camp and use English as a second language to build relationships with Czech people where we have planted a church in Plzen. There will be opportunities to share your testimony and the gospel using English as a bridge. Estimated cost: $1400
Ethiopia - October 9-Nov. 6, 2013
This team will assist with medical clinics and feedings to help find people of peace. We will also continue to provide resources for training leaders and spreading the good news to our adopted unreached people group. Estimated cost: $2000
