What to Expect

A ministry for Kindergarten-6th grade.

Welcome to the First Kids Ministry at First Baptist Church Forney. We engage in Christ-centered lessons where they will enjoy worship, Bible stories, crafts, and recreation. Safety is our utmost concern for all children, so all of our volunteers have passed a background check. We utilize a check in system where your child will have a tag for them to wear and for their bag. You will also receive a tag to pick up your child from their classroom. LifeGroups
Age-specific LifeGroups are offered at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Kindergarten through 6th grade will dive into scriptural truth at this time. Children of any age are also welcome to attend worship services with their parents.

Big Church Bags
We are thrilled to see many more families in our congregation worshipping together as a community. For those little ones who are 3 years old through 3rd grade, we have Big Church Bags available for you! Inside the bag are fun materials for you and your child to enjoy together during a church service. To receive a bag, please ask a Welcome Team member in the First Kids Lobby or at the Information Center in the Mall.

Wednesdays (School Year only starting August 19)

LevelUp (Grades K-6)

LevelUp is an exciting ministry for boys and girls in grades K-6 to participate in Bible study, memorize verses, learn about missions and missionaries, play high-energy games, and have lots of fun!

LevelUp meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. PowerUp meets on Wednesdays for ages 3 - Pre-K. (During the school year.)

Bible Drill

A fun, fast-paced way for your child to learn and memorize God's Word. Bible Drill is for grades 4-6 and meets in the Forum at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. For more information, email Jerad White at jwhite@fbcforney.org. (During the school year.)

Introducing Kids Worship "At Home and On the Go"! 

We're excited to keep our Kids Choir leading worship with us on the same Sundays as last year! But, this year, we're making a change to how our kids stay connected the rest of the week — instead of gathering weekly on Wednesday evenings, we're introducing Kids Worship "At Home and On the Go". Kids who sign up for choir will receive video content from our worship team with scriptural references and musical tips, so families can worship together anywhere, even in the car! We'll also make a playlist of Sunday service worship songs they'll be leading, for listening to in the car or at home. We can't wait to see how God grows our kids' hearts for worship both at church and on the go! You will receive more information about our new process after you register.
