Easter 2025

This Easter Sunday, April 20, we are having CHURCH in the PARK! How exciting is it to worship the name of Jesus in an outdoor environment that God has created. Don't miss this special time of worship and fellowship as we take church outside of our walls and into our community.

You’re invited to celebrate Easter with First Baptist Church Forney in the Forney Community Park. 

Good Friday, April 18

7:00 p.m. - A Night of Worship
Location: First Baptist Church Forney Worship Center

The whole family is invited to join us on Good Friday for a powerful night of Worship to reflect on the life and death of our savior, Jesus Christ. This night will guide us to remember the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross as payment for our sins and help prepare us to celebrate His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

LifeGroups will not meet on Easter Sunday.

11:00 a.m. - EASTER WORSHIP IN THE PARK
We are taking Worship outside to the Forney Community Park!  Everyone is invited as we gather as one community for Easter Worship in the Park. Our FBC Forney Worship Band and Praise Team will lead us in worship followed by a message of hope and celebration led by Pastor Nathan Lino.

We will have portable baptisms set up, shorts and tshirts for those who wish to get baptized. 

12:30 p.m. - 100,000 EASTER EGG HUNT
Following worship, we will host Forney's largest ever Easter Egg Hunt with over 100K eggs! Hunts will be divided by age and special needs. Every child in Kaufman and surrounding counties is invited to come fill their baskets! 

LOCATION:
Forney Community Park at 241 South FM 548 in Forney, TX 75126

WHERE TO PARK:
Visitors can park in the Forney Community Park lots.
We are asking Members to park at FBC Forney. We will provide shuttle busses between the church and the park. 

WHAT TO WEAR:
Come casual. Dress comfortably to be outside.

WHAT TO BRING:
Bring folding chairs and or a blanket to sit on. Kids, bring your Easter baskets. 

WILL THERE BE FOOD?
We will provide hot dogs, bottled water and snow cones for all those who want to stay after the service and Egg Hunt.
