"The interim" - 1 Samuel 22:1-2

We must move forward in faith even during those times when our circumstances do not seem to match the promises of God.

I. Feelings which force the question

1. Overwhelmed; spirit faints

2. Left out; lonely

3. No respect; he has been anointed king

4. Loss of self-confidence ; very low' does not sound like the guy who took on the giant

5. In prison; locked in with no avenue of escape

II. FAITH WHICH FORGES THE ANSWER

1. Get real

2. Get honest

3. Get specific

4. Get nostalgic

5. Get life
